With over 20 years experience behind the chair. I have stayed current and up-to-date with continually upgrading my training through GOLDWELL color and cutting classes. Including GOLDWELL’s Master Color Course.

I worked as an educator for 11 years with pureology / L’Oreal. This gave me a unique opportunity to learn from other stylist and owners while educating them.

Working and attending classes with two of the top color brands in the industry has helped me become the elite stylist I am today. My passion lies with creating beautiful, long lasting hair colors. Specializing in blondes and expressive bold coloring techniques.

Kayla joined our Elevation hair studio family, in November, 2022. She brings, with her, 18 years of experience, passion and expertise, as it pertains to hair and beauty, not to mention, a wonderful personality.

Kayla is graduate, of the SLC, Kingston, Hairstylist program, Class of 2004-2005, and subsequently worked in her field, in Cornwall, Ontario, for over 16 years.

Although she cherished her loyal clientele there, the commute, from Kingston, became challenging, especially considering the new, and beautiful additions, to her growing family. Now Kayla is fully committed to Kingston and looking forward to building a new, loyal, client base, with Elevation Hair Studio.

“Fun fact: Kendra was my Goldwell Colour Educator and representative, while I worked in Cornwall; we clicked then, and we click now!! Another fun fact: we both have twins, so we also connected on somewhat of a maternal level.”

Kayla specializes in colour, and is well trained and familiar with the Goldwell Colour line. She also specializes in foiling, foilayage and Short/ Mid length Cuts.

“I absolutely love my career, it’s definitely not just a job to me; it’s somewhat of an appendage; it’s truly an extension of who I am. I love making my clients feel special and welcomed; not to mention, my goal is to make them feel more beautiful, than they came in; I strive to earn their loyalty and trust.”

Meet Kendra

Kendra Lewis is a colour specialist with over 20+ years of experience in the hair industry. A former salon owner, she has come full circle back to where her passion began—behind the chair.

Kendra’s background includes working as an Education Manager for Kao Canada, as well as consulting and
representing Goldwell and KMS. While her corporate and consulting experience has been invaluable, her true
love has always been working directly with clients.

Specializing in colour and colour correction, Kendra is deeply passionate about her craft and takes pride
in helping people look and feel their best. She is committed to ongoing education and staying current with industry trends, ensuring each client receives thoughtful, modern, and personalized results.

Her experience, warmth, and genuine love for what she does make Elevation Hair Studio a place where clients
feel confident, cared for, and elevated.
